Introducing the MONOasis: A state-of-the-art, FDA certified hyperbaric chamber

The MONOasis Hyperbaric Chamber is a mono-place chamber, designed to perform medical therapy under controlled hyperbaric conditions up to 3 ATA working pressure.

 

 

Monoplace Chambers are usually pressurized with medical oxygen. However, this system can be manufactured with a customized air/oxygen system that allow the unit to be pressurized with room air, and oxygen to be delivered more cost effectively with use of mask internally. Our ability to create systems that allow facilities to produce oxygen on-site is unique in the industry!

 

 

With an integrated gurney, this chamber is more space accommodating than other medical units currently available. The patient enters lying down via a comfortable telescoping platform that extends from the chamber without external support.  The gurney is then rolled into the chamber on a special integrated rail system and also has an adjustable back rest allowing for 3 different positions.

 

 

Our unit is made of high quality steel in a horizontal cylindrical structure, incorporating a transparent acrylic tube section of  51.2 inches long and 35.4 inches outside diameter. The acrylic tube is manufactured in one single seamless piece that allows the patient full visibility to the outside with minimal distortion!

 

 

A communication system allows for easy communication between the patient and the chamber operator. The Chamber Control Panel is installed laterally, attached to the steel structure of the chamber. This panel contains all the equipment controls, gauges, operation valves, emergency valves, intercom, etc…

 

 

 

 

When pressurizing with oxygen, an additional safety system is incorporated into the pressurization system to prevent oxygen from entering the chamber while the chamber door is open. This ensures that oxygen does not accidentally contaminate the treatment room.

This system allows the operator the following:

• Regulate for each session, the treatment pressure indicated by the doctor.
• Regulate the pressurization speed for each session, according to the ease of the patient to compensate the pressure in their ears.
• With a single button ON/OFF start the treatment session according to the programmed speed, until reaching the selected pressurization level.
• Since the beginning of the pressurization, a ventilation system of minimum 50 liters per minute is automatically activated.
• Regulate the ventilation of the chamber from 50 up to 300 liters per minute.
• Perform variations of pressure with the regulation knob during the treatment. The hyperbaric chamber will automatically change its pressure to the new selected pressure.
• Depressurize the chamber automatically by placing the control button to the OFF position.
• Perform emergency depressurizations through a button on the control panel that allows to depressurize the chamber in 180 seconds from 3 ATA.
